Thanks for your comment. To be honest I found the suggestion laughable. To me the MOBOs are what they stand for - Music of Black Origin awards. Origin being the key word there . Regardless of race, religion, sex or any other criteria; anyone should be able to enjoy any style of music they choose.

Anyone of any race is eligible to win a MOBO too, so the fact that some of the bigger stars (mainly American stars) felt the need to say something like that and decline to perform in Glasgow, in my opinion,  undermines what the awards stand for.

Regardless of all this, the night was a fantastic night and the organiser Kanya King expessed her gratitude at the welcome the MOBOs had received in Glasgow stating they WILL be back. So it looks like those who are unhappy about it will have to get over it or try (no doubt unsuccessfully) to sabotage it yet again...</description>
