Amy MacBeath

Originally from the capital of the Scottish Highlands, Amy MacBeath is currently studying for a Masters in Journalism at Glasgow Caledonian University.  She recently moved to Glasgow from Inverness and now stays the city’s Dennistoun area.  

Before this, Amy worked for the Glasgow based commercial law firm Harper Macleod for three years after graduating from Strathclyde University with a degree in Business Law and Marketing.

One of her passions in life, she enjoys going to gigs in spare time and is generally to be found listening to the music of artists such as Idlewild, Brand New, Roddy Woomble, Vatersay Boys and Kings of Leon.   Her favourite television shows include educational programmes along the lines of Neighbours, Home and Away and Family Guy as well as the 1990s hit Hamish Macbeth, depsite it prompting a nickname throughout her school days.  Amy is also a proud supporter of Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC.
