Competing with eight other fashionable co-stars, including Kate Hudson and ever chic Marion Cottillard, Ms Cruz pulled off the best red carpet look. Her gown was a gorgeous shade of dove grey with beading detail, matching perfectly with her clutch bag.

Ok, so animal print is not as hard to pull off as it looks, but hooded animal print is another matter entirely. Normally only Eskimos can rock this look but as ever the supermodel pulls it off.  At a distance, you think it is leopard print, but look closer and you will realise it is actually snow leopard – a far more inspired choice. Why does it work?  She keeps the rest of the outfit simple in plain black.
